Governor. Only two candidates and the incumbent (D) has managed to do nothing during the last four years. No third party candidate. vote Republican.

Lt. Governor. No incumbent. Three candidates. vote Independent.

Attorney General. No third party candidate. Incumbent (D) has not done a good job in my opinion for the 8 or more years in office. vote Republican.

Congressman. Incumbent is (R). I personally know the wife and stepdaughter of the Independent candidate. He is an absolute, positive sleaze bucket. The Republican incumbent has done a very good job in office, but I'm not very happy with the Republican Party. Vote Undecided.

State Treasurer. No third party. vote Democrat.

Super of Public Education. No third party. Incumbent (D) has done a terrible job for the past 8+ years. K-12 education in the state is very poor. vote Republican.

Insurance Commissioner, Insurance Commissioner, and Commissioner of Labor. No third party candidate. Democrats will probably do the best job in these positions. votes Democrat.

Oklahoma State Senator (not federal) I don't like the incumbent (R) and do not feel he has done a good job. He also slimed his Republican opponent in the primary 6 years ago and she was a far better candidate and person. Vote Democrat

State Representative (not federal). No incumbent. Third party candidate. vote Independent.

County Commissioner. There are only three Commissioners and they have done very little for any community with the exception of the City of Tulsa. Few of the small towns or rural areas get much done in the way of roads and services. The incumbent is (D). Will vote for the former State Rep as he did a very good job in that position. vote Republican.

County Assessor. vote Democrat.

That sums it up. Just wish there were more third party candidates or Independents to chose from. :(

For those keeping score.

I'll voting Republican for House Rep., Governer, attorney general, and teasurer. However I'll be voting Democrat for senate only because Katherine Harris fucking wackjob. And I'll be voting no on all or most of the amendments simply because they are nothing more than attempts to increase spending.

Sarge, Where is the problem you say the incumbent has done a very good job in office. and that you know that the independent is an "absolute, positive sleaze bucket" Vote for the better person for the job. or is there another reason you are not listing.

Other wise what your are doing sounds good

Bah... I wish I could vote in this election. Unfortunately, I'll be waiting to vote until '07 (which means voting down whatever shit Tim Eyeman pulls out of his ass this time).

If I could vote:

Senate: Given that my choice is between a drunkard who beleives that we shouldn't even discuss Iraq before the war ends, and a woman who has acted to protect the ANWR and Puget Sound from Sen. Stevens (Exxon - Alaska), I'd vote democrat.

Representative: Our current Rep is doing an OK job. His opponenet doesn't seem particularly different, and is a Republican (not someone I want in the House, right now). No third parties. Vote Dem.

State Rep: No Contest. Vote Dem.

Judges: No Contest. Vote for Nonpartisan Candidate.

Initiatives: No on the 4 regarding taxation, yes on the green bill.

Unfortunately, I won't be voting in this election, so it doesn't really matter.

I get to vote on an amendment to my state constitution as well.
