It seems smoking weed, that pleasant way to eliminate those pesky short-term memories may stave off Alzheimers disease. So weed prevents glaucoma and Alzheimers, you can't OD on it, and it's not physically addictive. Why is it illegal in the USA?

I don't know. If it was legal, they could tax it just like tobacco & alcohol. We get high, the government gets extra revenue & the criminal element is taken out of it. It's a win-win-win scenario (I hate that expression though).

meh whither they legalize it or not everyone is still going to smoke it maybe the government just wants to keep kill joys happy by saying its illegal (as in really I’ve walked past police cars with joints and they didn’t do a thing)
