Looking at the Woodward book, I have a strategery, folks. I think there's two things we can do in Iraq. Let me run them by you and see what you think. The first thing is that we pull back out of Baghdad, and we position along the Syrian, Jordan and Iranian borders, and we say to the Iraqis:

"We're going to stop anybody coming across these borders. No more help from Iran. No more from Syria. No more from Jordan. Nobody's getting into this country. If we have to, we'll go 20 miles inland in each of these countries to make sure nobody gets through, but this is on you. We will make sure nobody else gets in.
Pull back to the borders you say? Why, that sounds an awful lot like redeployment. Hmmm. Jack Murtha suggested that a year ago, and it's gotten a lot of Democratic support--and now El Rushbo is on board, I guess.

Well, as my daddy was wont to say, even a dog's ass gets lucky once in its life. Rushbo, looks like this was your one time.

Rush coined the term Feminazi, so he can’t be all bad.

Anyway, just because Democrats propose something, that hardly makes it liberal. Hillary Clinton wants to ban the sell of video games to minors. That certainly isn’t very liberal, and she’s a Democrat.

It takes the Lawrence of Arabia doctrine ("It's better that the Arabs should do it acceptably than you should do it perfectly") to a point where it could work very well.

Doesn't sound very liberal to me. It's just going to cause less Americans to die, which will take some of the heat off of politicians proposing this redeployment. The Civil War will go on.

Heavens, yes. The man's idiocy has never been dependent solely on his position on the political spectrum. There are many, many intelligent and reasonable conservatives out there, but Limbaugh is manifestly not among them.
