Ok, so no Im not, but it did get you to click on the thread. So before you leave answer me this. Would you date midget? I wouldn't because I think its weird but I was watching the tele today and I saw a normal size guy that married one. poll will be up soon.

I have a thing for shirt girls, but not midgets...

I think the OP was refering to the medica condition. If you're very short but still well proportioned (a pygmy, for example), you're not a midget.

Well, I'm 5' 4", and every freaking woman I meet is at least an inch or two taller than me, no matter where I live. It's been this way my whole life. I must just have the kind of luck to move to places where the women are tall. :(

(Not that that's necessarily bad, per se. It just makes dating a little harder, occasionally, as Dakini said.)

I'm 6'2" and chronically unobservant. Having a girlfriend I might accidentally trip over or crush would probably be a bad thing.

Funny I should see this thread today, because last night I watched a show that had a little person on it and I found myself thinking he was really cool and attractive.

I've never been attracted to a little person before, but this guy had the most amazing voice and presence. He was good looking, too, but mostly it was that he had that quality...I don't know what to call it...that sort of vibe that makes you feel really interested and attracted to a person. Some people just have that presence about them, and it makes them far more attractive than they might appear in pictures.

If I were single and I had met that guy at a pub I would definitely make a pass at him.

Well, I'm slightly shorter than you (5' 2") and I have the same problem.
It does have some advantages though, breast height for them is head height for me!:D

I can't ever see it happening, but in principle romantic involvement should be based on a consideration of the individual as a whole.... *is confused by his own argument/opinion/thing*

However, I think you have to be at least 6'5" before the hight becomes more of a burden than an advantage. Oh, an I would date a miget, but not a dwarf. (dwarfs are like mini-me, they have regular big torsos, but little arms and legs) And I'd definately be down with dating a pygmy(which is an offensive term, but the only one you guys will understand), especially a member of the 'Kung, because their language is hella tight.
