Right now that great Australian Sport of Aussie Rulesis into the final 4 minutes of the Grand Final.

Who will win?
The Sydney Swans or the team from Western Australia?

The Final is being played in Melbourne, Victoria which is a neutral venue for the teams and yep no Victoriain team made the final.
LOL...

Both teams contested the final last year with Sydney winning, however right now The Eagles lead 85-84.

So the likes of the Crows, Swans and Eagles (all birds I notice) whopping Victorian teams is not to your liking? Even the Dockers had a great year with the Brisbane Lions being duds.

No. A Victorian team hasn't won in SIX YEARS. The two most successful teams in AFL history finished last and second last. Now, there are SIX interstate teams, and ten Victorian. What's wrong with Victoria?

Never liked AFL, there's just no passion to it when compared with FOOTBALL (*sigh* soccer for the majority of you)

You're right about Victorian teams being rather lame. Melbourne always seem to choke in finals and Richmonds can't make one. Geelong are just horribly inconsistent. St Kilda are been doing OK and the others not so well especially Carlton. Essendon are "rebuilding".

Oh yes - GO STORM.

Yeah, I'm hoping that if we can't win at our sport, we'll win at theirs.

The worst kind of loss - 1 POINT. Mind you the Eagles lost by 4 last time.
It's like losing the (soccer) World Cup on the last penalty shot.

Odd this year - no Victorian teams in the grand final and no Sydney teams in Rugby League.
One and only Sydney team in the AFL final (they lost) and one Melbourne and only team in the League final.

Well, Sydney were South Melbourne ... so they could be a Melbourne team.

Long story. It's what soccer would be like if there was an oval pitch, you could use your hands and there were three gridiron goals on each end of the pitch instead of the net.

True, I wouldn't mind seeing a Grand Final match from out of the following...
Canberra Raiders, Auckland Warriors, Brisbane Broncos, Melbourne Storm or North Queensland Cowboys.

Of course tomorrow night that dream comes true, but if it happens again next year hopefully the NRL will give the highest ranking Qualifier the Home Final.:)

An Australian NHL team?
Where woud they be based as a Home Arena?
I don't think the players would appreciate an 18-24 hour flight every 2 days...
