I think the world has been very clear for a long time that Bush's policies in the Middle East are causing a rise in Islamic Extremism.

It's not quite as bad as the article says. My best friend lives in Morocco, and she says that while there is a good deal of extremism there, the government is remarkably good at detaining the especially dangerous people, and even better at quickly releasing innocent people.
Apparently the Morrocan government is quite scared of an Iraqi-like situation where suicide bombers become everyday happenings, and are doing everything they can to stop extremists.
