Would it be possible to convert my Political Compass results into latitude and longitude coordinates, and place myself on the map that way instead? According to Google Maps, this can place me either 400 miles due south of Ivory Coast, or 800 miles due west of Angola. Either is a good choice, as ocean currents will naturally enhance anonymity.

It's like this, you can zoom in by clicking of the + on the right, and move the map by clicking and dragging such that the point of interest is low on the map - then you'll be able to see the bubble.
