Cold, I can only sleep in the cold.

I don't really feel cold that well I tend to just go numb, the outer layer of fat becomes icy cold and then I'm just not that uncomfortable anymore...

I can only take off so much. But if the room is cold, I can put more on.

If its too cold than it feels uncomfortable, but I like being cold more than hot, because when it gets hot i start to sweat alot and it just looks gross.

I'm hot,
my heart is cold.
What can I say?
This poll should have been multiple choice.

I'm sure we are talking about survivable temperatures right? Cold would be better then heat. I don't like to sweat.

I radiate heat. I am an ambulatory hot-water bottle. I must and will have cool surfaces.

actually, the real question I wanna ask the OP is...

How Hot is Hot?

and

How Cold is Cold?

I would much rather have it 100F 38C than 0F -18C.

At least things move when hot.

thats true, however I'd take a room 0F than 125-130F anyday.

How hot and cold are we talking about here, because those terms are relative without numeric values to give us a more accurate idea of what we're in for.

COLD. I accidently voted hot.

it's easier to warm yourself up than cool yourself down.

It depends on which your body is more attuned to...

HOT!

I hate cold! I'm NEVER even remotely comfortable in the cold--if I bundle up, that's hideously confining, and if I don't, I freeze my butt off. Sometimes I seem to be freezing even if I do have layers on.

I'd much rather strip down, than be practically buried alive under layers and layers of clothes. The "birthday suit" I came into the world with can handle any hot temperatures normally found on my continent, with the exception of volcanoes, certain hot springs, and the like. And it's fine for inside the house, which is where I am when the temps are extreme in either direction.

The natural-gas company doesn't have to worry about any boycotts coming from this direction.

Do I get a fan? Also: what's your idea of humidity? I've survived 100% humidity, 82degF and Zip for wind at night. (Whomever said Hot, Southern (US) nights were romantic obviously hadn't lived here.) It isn't fun, and it's not even remotely comfortable, but I can do it. Oh the flip side, I hate sleeping in cold weather. I can't do it.
