This is taken verbatim from the 3Com website, when I tried to download the drivers for a wireless NIC. Indeed has the world gone crazy?:confused:

Well they are just making sure that you don't use it to get that space based nuclear platform , I know you are working on, off the ground.Dont lie now they just scuppered your plans and your just pissed.;)

nothing new.

The U.S. has been controlling the export of encryption algorithms for years, I'm trying to remember what exactly it was, but until recently it was illegal to even show screenshots of one program working to anybody outside the U.S.

b) Work for terrorists
c) Both A & B

nothing new.The U.S. has been controlling the export of encryption algorithms for years,

Indeed. To circumvent this the sourcecode for PGP was printed out a few years ago, bound in book form and shipped to Europe - where people scanned it back in. Because you could not export encryptionsoftware, but you could export books regardless of content...

I had to fill similar buying a PC offof Dell. As a mere node of evil, as opposed to a hub or axis, I figured I was fairly safe.
