Grocery Lists

At Grocery Lists (http://www.grocerylists.org) there are more than 1,000 found grocery lists. Strangely addictive.
I have a tall, narrow pad, spiral-bound at the top, that I use for grocery lists, but oft-times it'll be a scrap of paper from my desk. I used to have a little HyperCard system that generated lists based on the aisles of the local grocery store: you went page by page, checked what you needed, and at the end it generated a list, in order by the aisles. I thought it was cool. My Lady made faces at me. :p
Hm... I've always used memory or what ever slips of paper I came across...

my grocery list is quite long since I only go once a month to the store, and it's generated by a database program that my husband wrote for me, basically I check off what recipes I want to make and it makes me a shopping list.
that site is rater addictive and I am not sure why...
also, I used to use this (http://mygrocerychecklist.com/) website to make a list with.

I think it's fascinating because you get a look into other people's lives.
And I like "mygrocerylist.com" :D

one of the grocery lists on there looked just like my handwriting, it's almost like I can remember making that list a few years ago.... I think I might be insane, surely they don't have my grocery list, but I mean someone is out there writing lists the same way I used to, with the same stuff, on similar paper....weird. I mean I know that it's just notebook paper, but I have this thing with folding it that way and writing under the pink line, and it really really looks like my handwriting.......creepy.

That is eerie ... the same thought occurred to me, that I might find one of my lists out there, though I can't remember the last time I actually lost one.

I usually go shopping once a week, so our shopping list is reasonably large. I try to break it up into sections so I don't have to go back down an aisle if I miss something.
I rarely if ever use a grocey list.. I hate writing..
And it'd just be pedantic to type it.
I employ what is generally considered the Worst Possible Way to shop.
I wait until I am out of either food I want to eat or toilet paper or some other vital supply and then I go to the grocery store with no list whatsoever and buy things that catch my eye hoping to remember most of the things I need.
Strangely when I go to a hardware store or to some other store to get a number of things for some project of mine I am completely anal about having lists and also about double checking these lists for completeness and accuraxy.
