Is Bushing making the homework dull and exorbitant on purpose to prevent any teens from becoming terrorists?

Trying, but I predict he'll fail. One of us will snap eventually, only adding fear to the poular opinion that teenagers are melodramatic, alcoholic, oversexed, idiotic, drug-addicted cultist children.

that, he most certainly does not.

However, through the No Child Left Behind, he's made each state conform to those regulations.

Heres what I've noticed at schools:
All classes below mine must keep and maintain an online record of their schoolwork, as well as a journal of their "feelings," on the work. My class was supposed to have this, but we essentially told our teachers to fuck off. This is the most tedious, redundant and annoying result of the No Child Left Behind Act, (due to system issues, and sheer stupidity) but there are others.

Theres a slew of standards, rubrics and grading systems that all teachers must follow, "PBGR," is the main one. (Performance Based Grading Rubric) This ties into the Online portfolio, because students have to identify which PBGR their work falls under, and they've gotta meet them all.

Ah, and the School has its Mission Statement posted in every hallway, classroom, on every window, door, the inside of every locker, and the ceiling for students to stare up at while they try and zone out counting ceiling tiles.

"Our Mission: To help students become skillful learners, and responsible, productive citizens."

Lucky for me, a great majority of that goes to the classes below mine. So I'm not concerned.
