i dont mean to start another gun control thread,but when i saw this,i thought it was worthy of everyones opinion.
i am not saying it does not raise many issues,cause it does,but the core issue is the fact that the government is either ineffective,or corrupt,or simply incompetant to handle the crime and crimminals.
what really galls me is an elected public servant(the prosecutor) refusing to answer questions about his performance of his duties.
yea i want to rely on people like that to protect me....sheesh
i just found it appalling the lack of responsibility the prosecutor showed,and the total indifference he had to his public trust.
and by the way,i am pretty sure the guys shooting up the carwash were criminals,and the guns they were using were not acquired legally.
but meh...the system will protect me.
