your own personal motto

Smunkeeville
22-09-2006, 17:30
I gave my kids an assignment[1] and it was pretty fun for them, so I turn it around to you all for your own entertainment. The idea is that they are going to write a book about their veiw point on life. The title of the book must be their own personal motto.

Do you have a personal motto? if not, make one up.

It should include enough detail to give us a general idea of your outlook on life, but short enough to fit on a book cover.

Anyone who wants to make their own personal logo[2] and post it here gets extra credit.

You will be graded. ;)

[1] yes, I know you all hate my kids. ;)
[2] the easiest way to do so would be to draw it in paint and upload it somewhere, please link to it so that your IMG tag doesn't break my thread if the image is too large.

No, I've no idea what it means, but it just happened into my head at the moment I saw the word "motto", and so I'm posting it.

"Life before Death. Death before Betrayal."

It succinctly expresses my strong belief in doing whatever I can to stay alive, while admitting at the same time that I want to live that life as ethically as possible, which means I may have to choose death at some point.

random question but... those piercings... how do they work? being a person unexperienced in these kinda things, I'm only used to piercings where you can put something on the other side of the stud or whatever... but I can't see how you do that in your back :P

and hey btw :-)

personally, I don't really have a motto... fair few quotes I like which I might look for and post later... mainly, I just stick with telling myself "I am strong, I can do this, I will do this" - nothing fancy, just enough to get my determination and willpower going (both of which are ferocious... when used :p)

it is basically a surface piercing, and works really similar to any other normal piercing with one exception. the bar goes under the skin.

The bar I have is a special one...it has two 90 degree angles, like this
http://www.piercing-outlet.com/images/barbtsurk.jpg

so basically, the two balls screw onto the ends, and the bar goes through a long hole in the skin. Kinda gross, kinda cool
