Does any one else think Bush would make a great Ventriloquist. He could cary a strawman dummy around with him and call him any of these Mr. Liberal, Mr Homosexual, Mr. Democrat, Bill Clinton, The UN, or just good old fashioned Sadaam.

I think it would be a great political and entertainment move for him it would certainly make his speeches more entertaining.

No. The ventrilequist would be Karl Rove. The Dummy's name could be Mr. Liberal, Democrat, Homosexual or whatever. His first name however would be "Some." Or as someone else pointed out. The Dummy's name could continue to be George W. Bush. You know what the W stands for? "Yet."

You will find it isnt two hundred million his popularity ratting is at almost an all time low for him. In fact i dont think most Americans think he knows what he his doing. And by the way dont be such and Arrogant narrow minded introvert when you propably have never even been to America, or actually know any Americans.

By doing nothing you are accomplices of your President.

I think somewhere aropund 60 million Americans voted in the last election which is pretty good when you consider there are about 300 million Americans. Subtract the children, 20 million or so illegal aliens, people incarcerated or infirmed. Just about exactly half voted for Bush. So about 30 million.

Could it be - most people thought that the policies of both main US parties were just so rubbish that they didn't turn up?

I think he should retire from politics and take this up as a career. After all, he can't be any worse at ventriloquism than he is at being prez

That is the stupidest think I ever heard. How are we supposed to do anything untill our representitaves term is up overthrow the government?
Ya that sounds like a great idea. The fact is the two party system is screwing us over. We never get representitaves we believe in just voting for the lesser of two evils you think people who voted for Bush thought he was a good president no they didnt they did it to keep Kerry out of office. Personally i voted for Kerry but i didnt like that numbskull either.

elect people who promise to impeach bush maybe? believe me even with Bushes popularity ratings it would be political suicide for some one to do that even with Bushes shitty aproval ratings. Do you know how much people politicians try to avoid things like that why do you think it doesnt happen except once every one hundred years.

Look how long it took us to get out of Vietnam despite all those protests. People protest whats going on in the middle east everday America is just to slow to act on changing views (the government) i mean.

What you just said trully astounds me i cant believe there can be such ignorant people in this world.

Its not like no one in America isnt doing anything about Iraq but your overestimating what we can do with this shitty two party political system. Not to mention Bush went around our congress to start this war some how the bastard seems to be getting around all the saftey nets in this country to do watever the hell he wants. You know the constitution all that Jazz.

Strummervile all the world is screwed up by so-called politicians.
But us of A are seen as I said.
You are a minority.
Majority in your country sees UK as a socialist land, France as a cowards country, Germany here in UK is seen as a nazist country like Austria. Italia a fascist castle.
The corporates through the media they own help these images to perdure.

Bushevism is a new way for politics.
After UK, France is on the way with a Sarkosi to play the game.
Poland is ready, Germany mount the troops of the right wing.

The voter attitude of America UK and France is reponsible for the Chavez and other troubles. They know we all are dismissed of the competition. They know the lack of power of the great countries.
The radicals islamists too, use that game, and they are winning.
Bush plays petrol prices, they play the world terror to invade West, they win.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that American policy doesn't just effect America.

Hell, considering how much us in Britain are effected by what America does I reckon we should be able to vote in your elections.

Oh please. We do our best, and that's all we can do. We aren't some international satan rearing up our head to devour Europe. The American people may have been wrong to vote Bush into office, but we have rules and laws that we follow. He was voted in, so we have to wait until his term is up before he leaves. We call that democracy. Yes.

We have an election in less than two months, as you might know. During that election, Congress may change hands. That is what little power we the people have while Chimp-man remains in power. We do not vote issue-by-issue on national issues. We are a Representative Democracy, not an Aristotelian Democracy, because Direct Democracy does not work in huge countries.

I am sick to death of the response Europe is drawing down on the US. We are not a bogeyman, and we do not wish you harm. Even George Bush, inept though he may be, is not out to destroy the world (merely control it. Absolutely, if possible.).
