As many folks should know, the prequel (helmed by Jonathan Liebesman who last helmed Darkness Falls)to the surprise hit remake of Tobe Hooper's classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is due out this October. I really don't like the remake or remakes for that matter in general. But they make money so what can we do? Still, I might see it because I want to see what kind of a backstory they put to him. Imo, Leatherface like Michael Myers should be left an enigma...but sadly..Halloween 6 happened.

And, there is a contest that will be going up on over at horror-movies.ca for an exclusive prop. The rules haven't been finalized yet, but for people who collect stuff from movies or are huge TCM fans, something for you.
