Naturally I'm not going to give the reason for needing the cash, but does anyone know of a quick way to get such an amount of cash in an emergency, with my circumstances? My circumstances are that I need that amount of cash as fast as possible, and that I get roughly £70 a week (£280 a month - should be in account tomorrow) BUT I WILL GET A STUDENT LOAN OF over £1,000 in the near future so would be able to pay it back out of that and pay charges/fees etc out of either an overdraft (which I can get once my student loan is in my account) or my wages.

A) Find a wacky, eccentric Millionaire who will fund you whilst you do some comical and bizarre action.

B) Purchase a shotgun, a large pair of stockings and a fast car. Proceed to nearest bank and enquire about a large, no-interest, no repayment-plan loan.

Do you know any criminals? Ask around. In a pinch, a drug dealer can probably provide the same function.

Hang out by an ATM and rob someone who makes a nice big withrawal. Repeat as necessary. If you get locked up at least you get free food, clothes and rent.

using your student loan money to pay for something other than school expenses is probably illegal. better check that out before you commit yourself to this course of action

if you cant get the money from a bank your best bet is probably the pawn shop. youll have to hock some pretty valuable stuff -- musical instruments, stereo, jewelry, that picasso original you have up in the attic.

or you could come clean with your parents about what trouble you are in and get them to help you out. they would rather pay off this debt than have you be involved with fraud, prostitution or loan sharks.

that’s basic infantry and works out at about £250 a week (though if your looking for college money you can get a grant and join the TA or something)

Wow, a low grade Private makes £1,193 per month? A US Private makes $1,274 per month. In the US you don't break the £1,000 mark until you're a Sergeant with over 3 years in service.

Nah, in the UK you can use your student loan for whatever you want, not just university expenses.

your forgetting you can also get an army sponsorship to get you through college albeit you will be expected to serve for awhile afterward

ah but are army doesn’t get many recruits and the British army is far tougher in training because of it (though that’s still terrible pay IMHO)
