My Favorite Threads of All Time

Im sure all of you hopelessly addicted NS Generalites have favorites.

Maybe your favorites were the debate threads, or maybe you were spamming and streaking threads like a maniac. Whatever they were, everyone probably has at least one.

What is your favorite Thread from days past?

Mine, (not surprisingly) were the "Ask the Squatch" threads.

The first, and the best (even if I do say so myself) half-serious, bad advice threads.
Many questions were asked, and every one was answered.
Mostly, it gave me the opportunity to practine my "one liners".

i don't remember the 'Ask a Squatch' threads, but i do remember the 'ask Occido' (or whatever her name was)

my favourite threads were the nu-hippies thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=394145&page=1&pp=15) - one of the first i really got involved with (post-noobism)
the UDCP thread, obviously
this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=448925&pp=15) was kinda sweet
this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=447050&pp=15) one rocked a lot cos i had glitziness and tink flirting with me (iirc) for ages, and it was sweet :D
and then there were the spam threads (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=395863) of old...

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9964303#post9964303

and, of course... http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9475981#post9475981 :) :fluffle:

i'm particularly proud of this one :p :D

...And look who returns and immediately the forums blossom into a new outbreak of spam. It's all your fault, PM. If it wasn't for your redeeming qualities I'd remove you from my Inner Circle. :p

I remember when I first came around and there was a thred about whether or not Mormons and JW's were actually Christians or not, and it went on for like 40 pages, and I kept up, and you were there and we got into a pretty heavy debate. That was fun.

I also remember a thred probably about January of last year (it was cold outside) and it went on for like 30 pages or something and I was debating Adam and Eve with UpwardThrust and Grave_n_Idle, that was pretty fun too, although it was way off topic from the original post.

Oh, and my whatcha sound like thred? (the one that I copied off the original thred of the same type by Fass) was pretty fun....it went on forever and ever, and started a bunch of "whatcha" copy cat threds.

I really think I was the first one to use the "whatcha" word around here.

Oh, and on-topic: I bookmarked all cool threads, but my comp is gone with the wind, and I don't recall a list good enough to name here.

The Poetry Thread we had a while ago.
The first real German Thread.
The Lingerie Thread of old (when Sin was still around and Muntoo still posted)...

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Did I mention the babe thread?

In passing.

Why yes, the German Threads 1-3, which saw all of my incarnations so far (well, except The One).

I remember a toilet thread that ran at the same time a certain penis thread was up- the combination was quite nice and entertained me for several hours, IIRC.

It's still alive too! :D Or at least, undead... ;).

Greatest thread? The NS General Office Party! Good times! :p

And the How Do You Do It thread was fantastic (before it got relocated to spam). Also the Sexiest Woman on NSG-thread

I am not worthy of the honor of posting here. I am a complete and utter NOOB. Many of the postes here come from people with thousands of posts. You are so better than me. I am sorry I am babbling but this always happens to me when I am in the presence of greatness.

Thousands of posts just means you've either been here forever, or you have no life. Though the former implies the latter so....

Dumbass questions make the world go round. Makes life interesting anyway. A bit annoying, but interesting. :)

Nonsense!

Ever see the Paris Hilton episode of South Park, where everyone wanted to be a whore, and the biggest whore of em all made people realize that whoredom isnt all its cracked up to be...

This is kinda like that, only with less buggery.
