We've had Georgia's Rose, Ukraine's Orange and Kyrgyzstan's Tulip. What's this?

I like that. It fits Hungary quite well.

Think it'll go anywhere other than a few days of pissed off people, though? Somehow I doubt it. It made sense in Georgia and the Ukraine, but Hungary is more of a stable Western European state.

...right?

The colour of pissed off. Or in the case of Hungary’s President, an embaressed shade of red.

See, this is a good example for the rest of us. Take note Americans, when you find out that the leaders of your country has been lying to you from the start you should riot, not re-elect him.

I agree with Kyronea, it's going to fizzle out into nothingness. The only way it'l end up continuing is if someone decided to throw a petrol bomb or something, then I can see it all kicking off. The UN will tell everyone to sort it out, and nobody will show up to their party.

well, things seem to be escalating still - with chants of '56, 56!' even. it's not exactly a revolution yet, but it certainly has some potential.

it's going to depend on whether the opposition can convince people that they should settle down and just vote for the other neoliberal coalition within the current framework instead. though with the promises of more police violence against 'rioters' - which always has the possibility of turning people who were just standing there into 'rioters' - well, we'll see.

Incorrect.

And I'd have it as the brown revolution - the colour of torched-out cars.

Put that on a stick, and burn that also, but write "Tony Blair" on it also to get your point across!

ARD interviewed one of them. He started yabbing on about how he was Germanic too because his grandfather or so was German...

from what i've heard the nazis are out, but so are the anarchists and other left groups. and, of course, the admitted liars of the state are trying to pin the entire thing on 'known ultras'.

It'd be kind of cool if I had one of those nasties today, though! Don't underestimate the shock-value of the Edsel! :D

I'm proud of being Ukrainian, but are you saying that you want the United States to be like UKRAINE?

I'd say so, in terms of getting leadership changes.

"Hail to the thief" after Bush stole the 2000 elections was hardly trying, when the populace is supposed to be armed for this very reason.
