So whats better?
Short or long hair?
define 'better'
what I prefer to wear myself, or what I find attractive in others?
is this hair length for men or women?
what does hair length have to do with liberalness?

To wear yourself.
The title was just a joke title.

Long for women, short for men.
in that case: medium.
('short' having the meaning 'shaven' or 'visible scalp' and 'long having the meaning 'below or touching the shoulders')

if best means most convenient, then short is best.
if best means most versatile, then long is best.
if best means most attractive, then there is no best as attractive is based on the individual.

When it's on my head, I prefer it to be short-middlish. It's too much to ask me to take care of long hair, and it gets greasy by the end of the day. I cannot stand that little problem.
When it's on a girl, I prefer long-middlish, because...well...that's what I find attractive.
I love the title, it's classic.

Having had both:
It depends on how you want to look.
My hair is pretty long at the moment, but it will be cut after my sept 30th LSAT.
