For Centuries, there's been many variation of what The Devil, Luficier, Loki, whatever he's called looked like. He's either red with horn and wings, some say he looks like an angel with wings, other say that he's the ideal man/woman. Others says he's half man, half goat etc. So, what do yall think Luficier, the Prince of Evil looks like? Also, why is he just a prince, why not The King of Evil?

Personally I would have to say he can morph himself to several idenities. He can be handsome, or ugly, he can look humans or a monster, but he mostly takes on the handsome/sexy look, because it's hard to seduce people when you're ugly and grostque.

Oh, I don't know...Woody Alan does a good job of it.

But, as far as looks...the Baphomet seems to be the most popular adaption. Although, when I see him in my dreams, he's always a flaming human skeleton with a cow's skull.

But that's only when I listen to the Tai Na CDs when I sleep.

It is said he can appear as an "angel of light" meaning that he is not the big scary red guy we expect, more than likely he is an attractive being of somesort, as it would be more tempting to go for something attractive as opposed to something big and scary.

I really try to get away from the idea that the devil or God would need a physical appearance, I don't want to "settle on one" and miss something important because it didn't "look right".

I tend to shy away from debates of whether God is male or female, or whether the devil is red with a pitchfork, or is half goat, because there really isn't a point.

In my mind there is real good, and real evil, and an actual constant spiritual battle between the two, it's less important for me to know what my enemy looks like and more important to know his strategy.

Unlike humans angels don't have both a spiritual nature and a physical nature. Satan has no physical form so he doens't really look like anything that we can understand most likely.
But, as a powerful angel presumably he can manifest himself in some way if he wanted to. Which would probably undermine all his hard work at convincing everyone he doesn't exist.

Loki SO wasn't evil. He was just a trickster-god. In the Norse Pantheon there isn't the same simple dualistic "good guys and bad guys" approach as in the Abrahamic traditions.

I think that the evil one, assuming it does exist, is an expression of the evil inside us, and has the appearance that we give it through our actions in this world. When someone beats or kills another person out of greed, that's the devil. When a person uses another person for sex or trinkets, that's the devil. When a nation destroys another nation because it has a different culture, that's the devil. No horns, no tail, no odor of sulfur. The devil is in the wrongs we do.

This is actually the second cat in a row with a devil themed name, the last one being named after a misquote from Good Omens named Adversary, Destroyer of Kings, Princess of Darkness, Lucifer Who is Called Morningstar. We fucked up the quote but had said it that way enough that we never got it right afterwards without looking it up. Of course most of the time we just called her Adversary. She was pure evil, snow white with blue eyes to lure her victims, they'd pet her on on the third stroke she'd curl around your arm and pump her rear legs in an attempt to gut your forearm. Just fucking mean. One of the only times she was acting like she was on my side, I kid you not, was when she started clawing at the door and meowing at me, when I opened it she tried to attack the door to door christian of whatever faith. I didn't even think about it when I called out, "Adversary, stop that." Evil little cat.

Diablo is actually quite a nice cat. But he is watching you.
