What are the odds that in 30 days of asking for over time that the one time that I get called to work I have already had 2 beers and cant work over time.

Pretty damned good. I went two months without ever getting Sunday overtime, then a friend of mine decided to have a house-warming party on a Sunday. I didn't bother requesting the time off because I never worked that day. Then the week of the party... Of course, I'm working 2:00 - 10:00.

I think employers have some sort of 6th sense that lets them know when it's the most inconvenient for you and the hardest for you to complain about your schedule. Like women know when to ask you a question to keep you from falling asleep or sleeping NYC strap-hangers know when the Subway gets to their stop.

Ugh. Same thing happened to me on Sunday, and they kicked up a stink about it.

But then, fuck them. I actually got a weekend for once.

SOBREITY?

No, he should act extra drunk so he won't have to work.

Believe it or not, there is a point where you are too drunk to work.

He cannot be slain by normal means...

Weapons used on him seem to break for no apparent reason. :p

Nice, that is what I would call extremely bad dramaic timing.

Depends on how often you have beer and how often you get asked to put over time. If you have beer one day each week and you get asked once every month, then it's about 1 in 4.
