Yeah, I suppose that must count as hallucinating...now do it while under the effects of a strong dose of your hallucinogen of choice.

I appear to have hallucinated watching a rather dull video on youtube, does this count?

I've gotten better hallucinations from laying still and staring at the ceiling.

That does produce a pseudo-hallucination effect, plus a headache, for a few seconds if done right.

But really, if you're so desperate for the effect of taking drugs, just take drugs. That's what they're there for. It'll be a much more interesting experience too.

Interesting example of how one's brains react to a prolonged and constant pattern of stimulation. Even if it is an unforgivable misuse of the word "hallucination."

Another "hallucination:" stand in a doorway and press the back of each hand against each door jamb as hard as possible. Count off 60 seconds. Step out of doorway and allow each arm to go limp at one's side. Note what happens.

Same idea, only mechanical instead of visual.

holy shite, i just tried that for the 3rd time, definetely weirded me out. My whole room was like zooming in on me and stuff and the walls were moving

That is a very effective headache inducer. I like the pinwheel one, though.

That one's actually pretty neat, even if the effect doesn't last very long. The sensation of being drawn into the screen was quite strong, but the effect of looking at my hand was relatively weak.

The spining of the spiral must mess with depth perception, or something like that.

I had to move close enough to the screen that the spiral took up my entire field of vision. Only a few inches away.

thats what I did too. I wasn' "drawn in" to the picture, it seemed to shrink away, moving farther and farther away from me

I tried the first one again, but the visual effect was still very weak. Now I'm just slightly nauseated, yet suddenly very hungry. :eek:

Being an experimenter of hallucinagens, that does create an effect that is part of some hallucinagens, such as mushrooms or the synthetic DOB. However, yesterday I took mushrooms. I saw a wall sweat.

I stared at the image to the end constantly squirming like a worm on a dancemat waiting for the look away at the end as it finished I found myself rushing upstairs for the wizz only to discover either my vision was messed up or my penis was mutating…needless to say I didn’t pay much attention and thus pissed all over the place

Add that to finding everything extremely funny...and some very mild hallucinations, and thats pretty much what LSD or Mushrooms is like.

Well, that'd depend on the circumstances and the relative amount you've ingested, too. I've had some fantastic experiences involving tribes of gnomes who weren't really anywhere to be found. Didn't stop them from following me around all night, though. And when I'd try ignoring them, they'd sneak inside the illustrations of decks of playing cards and taunt me during hands of Euchre.

Interesting video, got a short duration visual artifact that made everything in a circular area appear to warp. Only lasted about 20 seconds though after watching the whole video.

That wasn't worth the minute and a half of staring. I saw the walls wobble for a second, tops.

pretty funky, tho obviously shrooms are better ;)

hell, closing your eyes at the end of an evening of smoking a shitload of green is better :p (still cool optical illusion tho)
