The rioting was more likely due to the slur on the prophet Mohamed than because of the comment that Islam was violent.

Of course, attacking non-Catholic churches in response makes NO sense.

I'm going to go with irony here. What's even better is that while this IS by far one of the most awesome examples of pure irony I've ever seen, the Muslim's themselves seem pretty much oblivious to it! Combine those two things together and Islam is well on its way to become one of the world's best running jokes!

Oh really? What chance? What's the statistical probability?

It should be easy to find. First find out the total number of Christians who have visited or travelled through any Muslim country. Then find out how many of them have been beheaded. Divide the former by the latter. I'll wait for you to do it since it is after all, your argument.

Seriously, did you read that article? The persecution Christians face in Arab countries is horrible. Quoting from the article:

There's nothing hypocritical about violently protesting against being called violent by an infidel. Not if you're a modern orthodox Muslim anyway. Now, I don't base my opinions on what goes on in other countries solely on what I read in the internet or see on the news. I've actually talked to people that live and work in Saudi Arabia (arguably one of the most radical muslim countries). They weren't headless, but they were mormon, which is a type of Christianity. Apparently, oil companies prefer to send mormons over because they have similar ethical codes when it comes to alcohol. Celtlund and Myrmidonisia aren't headless, though I think they were armed during their stay in the KSA. I've been to Tunisia. I'm pretty sure if they'd start to behead Christians, the tourism would die down rather quickly. I saw a little report on a Christian community in Indonesia being repressed by their extremist islamic neighbors. Even so, they hadn't been beheaded yet. My mom has been to Turkey. I'm sure she would have mentioned something about Christians being beheaded if there was a good chance of it happening. Plus, I'm sure there'd be a lot of media coverage of any recent beheadings in Albania.

I know a christian guy who was born in saudi arabia, his dad and mom worked for Aramco(arabian-american oil company) all 3 have their heads and had nothing but good things to say about S. Arabia, except when it came to women.
