That's right folks, and the game just ended!
Germany managed to defend their 2002 World Cup title for men against the 2004 Olympic winners from Australia. (Sorry, mates!)
It was an exciting and thrilling game, very evened out, but in the end the German team managed to turn the game around after they were 2:3 behind to finish the tournament with a decisive 4:3 victory.
Congratulations, guys. I'm proud of your achievement and very excited for you! Thanks for an entertaining tournament - looking forward to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Huh. I had hoped that some NSers would be into field hockey as well. It's a beautiful, technically demanding sport.

As for Lacrosse - it is a fun game, but Germany is world champion in field hockey :D

Uhm - I did change it to the bouncies right after posting and reading your signature even before I read your 2nd post, so I don't know what you're complaining about now :D
