One of the people killed was a friend of my g.f.'s friend. I hope that they manage to hunt down and annihilate every one of the bastards behind this.

I know, what a letdown. And on my birthday, too...

Why would a fellow from Leipzig scream something about a Japanese movie monster??? Though, then again, Godzilla could have decided to go after someone else for once :P

I agree. Terrorists and those who support them via their actions have no right to live.

He wouldn't have said "Gojira!" though, it would have been more like "Gottanschteunfenhausengrabstillan!!"

I would pay real money to see the inevitable Toho epic, "Gottanschteunfenhausengrabstillan Versus Mecha-Gottanschteunfenhausengrabstillan", I don't mind telling you.

I think you need to reconsider that implication. The IRA and the Islamists have nothing in common, when it comes to goals. But a trite statement is better than none, right?

You know, a few years ago hyperbole like this would have seemed strange to me.

Both terrorists. That's one thing in common. Enough to get a point on a dating service.:D

That'd mean executing large numbers of people who by pirated videos, the profits of some of which apparently (read: vaguely remember BBC documentary and news report about it but won't look for sources to back it up) help fund terrorrists.

These aren't Osama's boys, fool, these are separatist terrorists. Their goal is political.

LOL. I can just see the result. Hasn't there been a thread running for a while about how badly dating services work?

As is Osama's. He uses religion to convince people to follow him. That's the way it's been since humanity first came up with religion.

He wants a theocracy, because he thinks his religion says so. It's much more religious than these separatists.

Silly. Don't you know that those normal rules don't apply to terrorists that happen to be Muslim?

Theocracies are political. They're like any other dictatorship, but the ruler uses religion to convince the populace that the situation is good.
