Favorite Trilogy quotes!

We all saw a trilogy from time to time, Star Wars, The Matrix, Austin Powers. However, out of the three films, what was your favorite quote? Here is my favorite quote from The Matrix trilogy. It's in Matrix: Revolution with the last battle between Smith and Neo.
Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more that your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist?

Best movie quote ever! I love the Matrix trilogy and the character of Agent Smith especially. Hugo Weaving is such a great actor!

I know! I mean jeez, he just played Agent Smith sooo well! Espically during that little speech of his!
Too bad he had to be deleted at the end though. :(

yeah, I don't know why everyone hated Reloaded and Revolutions, they weren't as good as the first but then again NOTHING is as good as the first matrix...

I agree. The entire trilogy was freakin' awesome! The first couldn't be topped obviously, but the sequels were kick-ass anyway! I think one of the reasons people didn't like the second or third movies as much was because they didn't understand a lot of the underlying philosophy in the characters words and actions.

Some people didn't like the second film because it was all action and had little content. Though The Matrix was one of three, it was a complete film in itself whereas no.2 was just a set-up for the finale.
I liked them all though;)

True. The second one had the least philosophy overall. That and it was pretty much a filler between the original and the finale. The last scene was just Smith-Bane and Neo lieing on some tables and then "END". It sucked in a "Pirates of the Carribean 2" way.

No, there were 5 Planet of the Apes films not including the recent remake.
Still, it probably counts as much as dividing all 6 star wars films into 2 trilogies!:D

Agent Smith: "You're empty."
Neo: "So are you."
It wasn't until the third or fourth time I watched it that I realized they might have been talking about the guns.

When I first saw this post, I thought it was supposed to be an exchange (ie, a piece of dialogue). For several moments, my entire Universe stood on its end and tap-danced like a drunken monkey, then I remembered that these lines actually have no connection within the actual movie.
Now my monkey is upset, and its all your fault.

"Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death, and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise can not see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill."
That comes from what is without a trace of a doubt the greatest trilogy of all time.
It is actually cobbled together from two or three Gandalf quotes from different books, but the effect is remarkable.

-In the beginning the Universe was created. This made alot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.
-I am solely responsible for the form of the animal known as the giraffe will evolve to be.
-Im went insane a long time ago. Im saving my sanity for later
-He picked up the letter Q and hurled it into a distant privet bush where it hit a young rabbit. The rabbit hurtled off in terror and didn't stop till it was set upon and eaten by a fox which choked on one of its bones and died on the bank of a stream which subsequently washed it away.
During the following weeks Ford Prefect swallowed his pride and struck up a relationship with a girl who had been a personnel officer on Golgafrincham, and he was terribly upset when she suddenly passed away as a result of drinking water from a pool that had been polluted by the body of a dead fox. The only moral it is possible to draw from this story is that one should never throw the letter Q into a privet bush.
-One of the things Ford Prefect had always found hardest to understand about humans was their habit of continuously stating and repeating the very very obvious, as in It's a nice day, or You're very tall, or Oh dear you seem to have fallen down a thirty-foot well, are you all right?
-My doctor says that I have a malformed public-duty gland and a natural deficiency in moral fibre and that I am therefore excused from saving universes
