I am about to head out with my mom to hit the various flea markets, swap meets, garage sales and church bazaars in the area.

She and I have different "shopping styles" when it comes to this.

I look for one weird thing, and then pick up misc that is useful (like clothes for the dress up trunk, or misc. art supplies like glitter and yarn)

she just buys whatever she can.....and then hoards it. :mad: <----- that face is because every 6 months or so she says "come over and help me do a garage sale, I have too much junk"


anyway, I am at a loss of what weird thing that I should look for today, basically it has to be something that someone might have for sale (not like the holy grail) and it has to be sufficiently strange so that when I ask the vendor if they have one, they will wonder all day what the hell I was looking for it for.

Well, once when my friends and I had been drinking whiskey all night and into the morning, we went into the mall about 11 am and asked all the stores that could conceivably have these things if they sold small sets of scales and razors.

Nobody did.
