I haven't been adding much to Think of the Children because I've had to juggle 9 other stories plus school and band, but I've got new stuff.
I've edited stuff in TOTC because... well... I lost "The Manual". I had it in my notebook, and it fell out and I couldn't find it. It drove me crazy and I was looking all over the place for it. Luckily I had copied the Manual down in the original first chapter (which focuses on Layla), but I forgot the penalties, so I had to make new ones. According to my new formula Kendra had 156 days of behavior camp, which sounded much better than 145. :D Now I'm re-writing the firs ttwo chapters beause I was writing in a completely differnet style than the prologue, and the chapters were narrated by Layla and Damon rather than a third person, which I had done for Kendra.
Also, Layla's parents are characters from "Persephone Skye". :eek: I couldn't have one story written in Prudence, North Carolina and then have the "sequel" written in Auradale, Virginia, without some type of explanation. So Mr. and Mrs. Thomas moved to Auradale from Prudence, and by t hat time they'd already had Layla. Also some more character information:
Layla is Jewish. HEr mother converted to Judaism when she got married. Kendra is no longer Christian, she is kind of floating between Buddhism and agnosticism/atheism, while Adam is hovering between Christianity and atheism. Damon is a Christian but is not religious.
Also, more characters for Persephone Skye: These are the other members of the "Skye Clan". Their nicaknames are Anima Skye, Virginia Skye, Xander Skye, Eleanor Skye, and Immanuel Skye. Anima is Olivia, Virginia is Alexandra, Xander is Daniel (:eek:!), Eleanor is Vanessa, and Immanuel is Ryan. I have their last names but I don't remember them at the moment (I will get them soon, I just can't reach my little notebook right now).
So... look for a new chapter of Persephone Skye soon.
