Ever drink and drive?

I've never done it but I'm wondering if you have. If you did why did you do it, and how did you feel afterward. Did you get in trouble or did anyone get hurt?

Only on a bicycle. Nothing bad happened, but it's a stupid thing to do.

I cant say Im much better.
I have my weaknesses too.
I'd trample a child for a Golden Retreiver.
But I do have to ask, how much laundry does your poor wife do, and how many times has she threatened your life after coming home covered in mud?

I can't drive (well, not legally), but if I was driving, I'd not touch a drop of alcohol. It's not worth bothering with.

I don't even drive stoned. Though that's part of my 'Bitch Pact.'
My thought is-I don't rob anyone to buy weed, I pay for it with money I earn from working. I don't drive, I don't do it overtly in public, I smoke it and watch a movie or tv or eat some snacks. If I do all of that, if I'm reasonable about it then I don't see any reason that anyone should bitch about what I do in my spare time. I don't forget to pick up my brother from practice, and I don't know who those ads are kidding, a kids birthday party would be extra damn stoney...I'd be sure to show up to that...alright, the pact isn't perfect, but I don't ram into kids riding bicycles in front of drive thrus, and if a kid shoots his friend with a loaded pistol in a desk drawer blaming it on weed is placing the blame pretty far down the chain. My weed doesn't support terrorism, at worst it funds unauthorized murals and a slightly exagerated consumption of hostess products.
But this isn't about weed, it's about if I've ever drove drunk. No. I haven't.

i did...
once.
i was on my learner's permit, which is kinda worse, cos the bac limit for that is 0.00, no exceptions.
i went to my cousin's 21st, and my parents forbid me to drink, but i did.
then they asked me if i wanted to drive home afterwards, to get more practice and whatnot. of course, if i had said no, i would have had to admit id been drinking [not much, mind you. one or two glasses of my cousin's homemade punch]
so i drove home...luckily, it went okay. it was about 1 oclock in the morning, so there was hardly anyone on the roads anyway
but i just think what could've happened if i hadn't been so lucky, or if i had drunk any more, or if another driver did something stupid.
i'd never do it again.
way scary.

we don't have those ads in this country... i'd love to see em though.
i agree with your 'bitch pact' though - if you're responsible about weed like one would be with booze (having a nice spliff in the evening instead of a glass of wine...) then what's the problem?
i drove stoned only when i didn't know (before i had me first toke) i'd be going out driving (like when a friend needed a quick favour, when i totally forgot to go hand in work at uni, or when we ran out of green and it was an emergency :P)
if i knew i'd be going out or doing work, i wouldn't smoke. just like being responsible/not being a idiot with alcohol :)

We complement and supplement eachother well. We enjoy rugged activities both in and out of the bedroom. ;) We have great senses of humor and she is constantly entertained by my antics. We both love to cook. On the other hand, she is good with money where I am not, and makes sure all our financial affairs are in order. Like me, she can be remarkably serious and level-headed when the occasion calls for it. She just enjoys it more.

Yes. It's incredibly fun to drive drunk around twisty hilly roads at night at stupid speeds while screaming along to a metallica CD. It's also very dumb, dangerous, and expensive if you get caught. One time I almost got into a head-on collision with a truck. The one time I got caught I was driving back from Joe Pop's, a bar on Long Beach Island, NJ. I never did it again and never will try it again.

Sure. I did it a lot of times and will continue to do regularly. However, I mean only slightly drunk (a sixpack per person or less), and I only drive offroad this way.
It's just more fun, and there's no big difference in handling of the car when crossing dirt.
Yes I have. One time I was riding a motorcycle home at zero dark thirty in the morning while I was drunker than nine hundred dollars and I forgot to put my foot down at a stop sign and fell over like the guy on a tricycle in Laugh-In.
Drunk driving is an interesting sport but I'd not recommend it to anyone.

You kiddin'? I never drive sober! If I'm gonna run over children, may as well have a bottle of liquor in me.

At least you've got an excuse that way. I'm drunk is a lot more understandable than I wanted to see how far my car would launch 'em.
Nope, and those who do should be in some serious legal shit. Shouldn't have to hurt someone first.

I never have, and never will.
Hey, a funny story for ya'll. Years ago, my uncle was driving to his girlfriend's house after he got off work, and he got rear-ended by a drunk driver. The guy got out of his car and went to ask if my uncle was ok. My uncle rolled down his window, smelled the alcohol on the guys breath, and showed the drunk driver his police badge.
The drunk driver nearly crapped his pants when my uncle did that. :D

I've drunk and taken the wrong NJTransit bus (but it was probably due to the fact that I had no clue which bus to take). I had to transfer to about 4 different buses before I ended up back in my town.

I rarely drink. I often drive.
I never drive after I have drunk anything alcoholic. It's not worth someone else's life.

I've driven before (I have my learner's permit, but I can't get a license yet), but I don't drink alcohol. So, no.
I did it once. Don't want to do it again. Also one time came home on a mescaline trip and my parents wanted to talk to me about something or other. It was several days before I graduated high school. I kept trying to focus on what they were saying, but then their faces would dissolve.
Oh, and the morning I drove home drunk was uneventful. It was about five something, no one was out, I didn't do anything nuts, and I didn't get caught. But I don't want to do it again.
