Is anyone else tired of Family Circus? Jeez it's not even funny! Now I know that it's a comic for grandmothers (and my girlfriend Kayla) to go "aww" over, but I don't read the comics for that. If I wanted to go "aww" I would look at pictures of cute kittens! When I read the comic, I want to laugh! Also, I think we should get rid of Cathy, it's been dead for a loooonnnnggg time, B.C. too.

Yeah, Family Circus is filler, and your girlfriend is unquestionably depraved for liking it. The world will right itself when parents resume giving their kids names that don't make me want to reach for a hatchet upon being introduced to someone bearing one.

He's doing comics again. it just goes by "Opus". A couple returners from the orginal "Bloom County" cast, more modernized, yet the same politics and humor.

Nah, the funny pages retained awesomeness until Calvin and Hobbes left us. Then the downfall began.
Although, the comic strip Get Fuzzy is proving to be catching my attention again.

I liked that comic. I had a pal in one squadron that we called Opus. Very similar profiles.

Family Circus is now material for the other comics to make fun of. "Pearls Before Swine" recently did a few strips on what Family Circus would be like if the characters aged naturally.

Thread titles on NS are too often indirect, confusing or simply unrelated to the content, anyway; a few typos hardly serve to make the situation any worse. Its nights like these that I wish more posters would take a cue from Ray Steckler.
