Favourite beer

I've started to get a taste for good beer now. I've tried a lot of different types of beer, but my favourite has to be Budweiser. And I don't mean the dishwater that's made in America. I mean the original Czech pilsner that's called Budweiser Budvar. It's just so much better than any of the usual popular beers that I've ever tasted.
What's your favourite beer?
Duvel.. Because Duvel lovers are better lovers!!!!!:D

I can't choose a favorite because there are so many good ones, but I've recently tried this one clicky (http://beeradvocate.com/news/stories_read/666) and it was really good.

Hmm, I like "Sloeber", "Palm", "Hollandia", "Hoegaarden" and many other beers. I also like the "SC 2006" beer but it was specially made for me and some friends :) Thus there is only 30 litres of it :(

I'm mostly a bourbon drinker, but beer tastes good on a hot day. The best big brewery stuff I've had in the United States is "Sam Adams". The best small brewery drink is "Red Hook", although there is a brewery in Boston called IPA that is pretty good, too.

I have probably forgotten the name of the brewery. They had a little bar at the airport and a bartender that insisted we try all the varieties. How's Harpoon sound?

Harpoon sounds fun there may be an IPA brewery but over here IPA means a yeasty strong ale so i dunno either

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale.
I have several favourites. They include: Guinness, Newcastle, Blue Paddle, Fat Tire, Sudwerk Marzen, Chimay Bleu, and the scotch ale from a local brewery. I'm a dark beer kinda gal. :)
Things I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole: Coors/Bud/Miller, Keystone Ice/Light, Natural Ice/Light... basically anything with "light" in its name. Yuck.
Polar and Solera.

Alcohol is God,
"And the time had come for the Ending of all thing so The Most Holy BArman did ring seven bells, and lo there apeared on the horizan four Horsemen, the first on a burberry horse came bringing violence and terror upon all, the second on a horse of Donner meat brought great illness upon the people of the pub, the third clad in a might nighy brought much denial of sex and a great sleeping on the sofas of hell. And finally the last and greatest horseman brought with him the promise of work in the morning and at his side was the mighty hammer of Hangovers"

All I really remember from that afternoon was a big handle in front of me that read "IPA". I'm sure it was India Pale Ale. Harpoon is on my expense receipt, so that must be the brewery name.

The Beer Prayer
Our Lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hallowed be thy drink.
Thy will be drunk, (or I will be drunk,)
At home as it is in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillage,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not to incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer, the bitter and the lager.

I like many beers-amstel pale, duvel, palm, and unlike many who prefer to slam them I like american beers too... I had some beer from that mormon state(Utah?) so little alcohol in it I thought what's the point, might as well have a Pepsi.

Someone inflicted a can of Budweiser on me once. It was the first and only time that I encountered a beer so disgusting I couldn't actually drink it. Some of the stuff coming out of the American microbreweries, however, is quite good.

I go by the philosophy "Think globally, drink locally." So whatever is good and local. Usually the local beer tastes better when you can get it where it is brewed, e.g. the Guinness tastes better in Ireland.

Black Cuillin is my personal favourite, towards the stouter end of the spectrum.
I recently holidayed 10 minutes walk from the Kirkstile Inn (http://www.kirkstile.com/), home to the Loweswater Brewery. Much Grasmoor was drunk.
Two recent dicoveries are welsh, but I've forgotten their names. Can you guess how?
Welsh beer? Imagine trying to order one a few beers into the evening.
I'll recommend Trois Pistoles.
