Yes, that's the actual title of the link to the article as it appears on CNN.com... cracked me up, dunno why. It's sad, sure, but hilarious..

Here's a challenge.. read this:

Then, picture the incident in your mind without stifling some kind of laugh or half-laugh... It can't be done. Try it.

Ok... I admit it... I smiled. but I didn't Laugh, chuckle or snort...

and I smiled at the image of two grown men in the courtroom pointing fingers at each other saying "No, you're the liar!"

Something about using the term "beaning" in the headline.. I would've expected something a bit more clinical... the term has a humorous connotation to me, even as someone who's been beaned a few times.. :p

I just think it's sad. Kids sport is meant to be about them enjoying themselves. For the coach to pay one kid to hurt another, is horrible.

8 and 9 year olds?

That's taking sports way too seriously. Whatever happened to it being the taking part that counts?

Sorry but not even a chuckle. A slight pang of sadness that kids have to take sport that seriously. From the sounds of it the coach is a prat

This is more disgusting then funny. The coach should be ashamed of himself though I doubt he feels anything of the sort.

The kid had an earring. Any kid that young with an earring deserves to be beaned.
