okay, so majority of Christians are in an uproar over this saying it makes us look bad. Well as a Christian, i can say i think this vid is hysterical. If you cant laugh at your own religion,.....you must be really uptight..

With over a billion christians in the world, I think it's a safe bet that most of them have never even heard of youtube much less the clip he linked to. Nice try on his part though.

I think it's kinda funny. There were a few involved theological problems with it, but on the whole it was just a corny song that promoted equal-yoking.

The video is a very good syllable-for-syllable recasting of the Sir Mix-a-Lot classic. Very clever if you ask me. First off, this is the first parody of "Baby Got Back" I've heard that goes the distance and re-imagines the entire original -- and yeah, the rapping isn't up to Mix's snuff, but he's got two strikes against him: White and Christian. And even Christians have to admit, White Christian popular music always surfs the lame wave. Some manage to ride it into listenability, but not many.
If any Christians are pissed about this video, they need to spare the rod that's currently up their ass and actually listen to it. Theologically weak it may be, but the overall message is positive. I think some people who call themselves Christian do more disservice to their religion than this video ever could, and if they get all in a lather about this, it's mostly because they're pissed that they aren't as clever or inspired to do something that took as much effort and creativity as this video did.
Screw 'em. There's a hardcore minority of sincere control freaks out there. It ain't about control if you're really "down wit' G-O-D" (to continue the lameness in the Naughty By Nature vein). The message is all. Folks need to relax.

As a Christian myself, who, prior to this topic has had it downloaded to my comp, and was actually linked to it in the first place by a Christian friend (who, also thought it was hilarious) I can honestly agree. if it is insulting Christianity I would like to know how, because clearly real Christians aren't all "Her Bible isn't big enough!" it is the rediculousness of the song, along with the fat that as far as parodies go, it matched amazingly well (makes me so holy)and the lyrics are just plain great. No this song does not offend me, after all, it was made for comedy, not any kind of religious message either for or against anything.

Yeah, we're nutty that way with wanting people to back up sweeping claims and not just "taking someones word for it."
But for the record, not everything. The following does not need to be sourced:
Sky-blue.
Sun rise-in the east.
Sunset-in the west.
etc.
Broad claims about a huge portion of the population that couldn't possibly have seen this in large enough numbers to be true, especially when of the christians responding it has proved to be exactly not true, gonna need a source.

Eh, most serious Christian rap isn't as corny as this. I don't like Christian rap for the most part, but I have to give a little credit. This was spoofing Christian contemporary music, not representative of it.
