So my next door neighbor is having some problems... and i am not EXACTLY sure what it is... i think it is a blown head gasket.. or a warped head but i do not want to tell her it's that unless i am 100 percent positive becaquse it is just so expensive.. if anyone want to help i would appreciate it a lot

Symptoms:

Timing belt "Jumps" meaning it will start and stop then start again

Water leaking from the tail pipe... It is just water

No visible leakage but the Coolant level rapidly drops

Over heating

Everything else... more or less is normal.. and all this screams "HEAD GASKET" but it is also missing a few symptoms as well... like i said it is just so expensive to fix that i do not want to tell her unless i am sure that is what is wrong.

What, if you don't tell her, the problem goes away?

let the car cool completely, fill the radiator with coolant, and then try again, it's the best way to see where the water in the tailpipe is coming from, if her radiator is so diluted that it "looks like" water it's going to be near impossible to tell without taking the car apart.

No if i tell her that is what it is... Then you know what happens if it's not?....
