Everybody pretty well knew it would make it over here.

For me? I will see what the critics say and what others say before I see it versus renting....
Let the bitching commence! ;)

I'll watch out because it's.... well... it'll piss off anyone who wants it censored.

I would watch it, but I don't want the Gestapo - er, sorry, Department of Homeland Security - knocking on my door at midnight.

Forgive me, but am I the only one thinking it sounds like a rehash of the theories surrounding JFK's assassination?
"As he leaves a hotel after delivering a speech, he is shot by a sniper in a nearby building.
A police hunt leads to the arrest of a Palestinian man on flimsy evidence. Later the man is convicted of the assassination and kept in prison even as evidence points to another person as having committed the crime."

You mean Robert Kennedy.
Except that this is speculative alternate history fiction, and there's never been evidence that anyone besides Sirhan Sirhan pulled the trigger and planned the assassination.
And it sounds like a rather detailed extrapolation of how America's current 0h |\|03z 3b1l |\/|0zl3|\/|z obcession would lead to something like that happening in the aftermath.

I plan to ignore it. I go to the movies to be entertained, and mockumentaries don't entertain me.

No, actually, I was thinking sniper in the book depository and the theory of the second gunman from the grassy knoll, thanks.

Actually, Lee Harvey Oswald was pretty much involved with Communists. Communists were pretty much hated by America. So I'd say it's more like JFK.
You know, the timing on this movie is immensly suspicious. Soon before the elections? It'll be easy enough for any Republican to take this and say that this is what Democrats, Independents, Libertarians, and anyone who doesn't vote Republican wants. Which is simply not true. Yet it'll be used that way anyway. Pretty damned convinient if you ask me.
(I'm not saying that I believe it was made specifically for this intent. All I'm saying is that it looks suspiciously LIKE it MAY have been.)

Are you sure you wanna say that in a lonely place like this...?
(I'm not saying you shouldn't... just saying people have been strangled for much less...)

I probably won't see it because I like my movies to be character-based, and this one looks more political and message-driven.
Or I might get drunk some night and buy a copy off eBay. I have a bad habit with things like that.

How many snakes in this movie?
(I'm not saying nil, but fuck all, I'm told)
