Complete freedom of speech, as well as freedom of censorship by newspapers, magazines and so on as long as they don’t contain anything illegal.
However for television, censorship must follow some basic guidelines: watershed etc…
Abortion is legal, but not mandatory in all surgeries. Euthanasia is legal but also not mandatory. Stem Cell research is legal.
Gay Marriage is legal, but any church can choose not to recognize the marriage if they want to.
Cannabis and similar drugs are legal, harder drugs are illegal.
Religions may denounce other religions or atheism as much as they want as long as it is not in schools or other state controlled areas. However they are not allowed to force their views on other unwilling people. The same applies to any other idealists and campaigners.
Schools may teach about different religions in school, but you may not teach one religion as being superior to others.
Creationism is not to be taught in schools; however you may not teach evolution as the definitive answer, only the scientific answer.
Charities are supported and encouraged by the government and allow anyone to start a charity as long as they agree to certain requirements.
Racism, sexism etc… are banned from education and work.
There is a national health service, but also private health care for those unhappy with the NHS.
Taxes will be low, but higher for the very wealthy to help the economy grow.
The government respect the right for private schools to exist, as well as private food, water, or other essential product companies to exist as long as they follow certain requirements.
The police will be granted warrants to search peoples home if they are perceived as a threat.
The government will spend some of the tax on the military, investing in the latest and most advanced tanks, armour, planes, navy and infantry.
Benefits will be granted to those in situations they cannot get themselves out of, as long as the person follows certain guidelines.
Honour and respect are heavily encouraged (although not forced upon) by the government to be taught to adolescents and teens by parents as are essential values to help make society progress.
If a child is thought to be suffering from very bad parenting, and further investigation proves to be the case: heavy fines will be given eventually leading to a temporary separation between the child and the parent.
Certain governmental programs in education and law enforcement will be made to crack down on anti social behaviour.
There shall only be the death penalty for the most serious crimes/ war crimes.
Only firearms used for sport or hunting are permitted. The person must go through certain tests to obtain a licence.
