The Manifesto

Economy

Consumption taxes will be eliminated for most products. Tobacco, alchohol, marijuanna, etc would keep there taxes. This will probaly mean that income taxes have to be raised.
On that note, income taxes will be progressive. Taxes will be paid online, as that will allow use to use a function to determine your rate, so people will not get shafed by being bumped up a tax bracket. There will be a ceiling on the maximum rate.
Sizable incentives will be provided to buisnesses in hightech industries. This includes software, hardware, telecom, stem-cell, areospace and others. R&D grants will be avalable to all sectors of the ecnomy, but the hightech undustries will be higher priority.
As noted earlier, areospace will be a private venture. However, it will recieve plenty of goverment funds and regulation.
Tarrifs will be banned.
POP will try to meet a 0.7% forign aid goal. the aid will consist of us building infrastructure, with assistance from local workers (which no doubt will have to be trainned by us).
Education will receive a noticable funding increase. Efforts will be made to shift the curriculum away from the final exams, and to what the Universities and Tech Schools build upon.
Healthcare and Dentalcare will remain/become publicly funded.

Society

TV censorship will be left to the disretion of the network, with the exception of religous TV: the government will step in if a program or person spreads hate against an identafiable group.
As noted earlier, marijuana will be legalized. The governmant will adopt a simpler name for it.
Mind altering substances will be sold by the government, to people 18 or older. The consumption of such products will be legal for those 16 and older.
Those who are able to obtain video footage of roadrage, and get the driver's liscence plates on screen, will recieve a cash reward. Those who are able to capture a person filming while drivinging will receive a smaller reward. The person caught violating will be responsible for the paying the reward, and the subsiquent community service/jail sentance.
All other court issue fines will be based on a percent of violaters income, instead of a static amount.
Immigration will be made easier, and noumbers will be increased. Children of parents who immigrated illegally, will be considered illegal immigrants.
Major cities will have a designated "tent city" where the homeless can legally squat.
Major cities will also have at least one safe injection site.
Prisonners guilty of non-violent crimes will be given the option of jail or a labour camp at sentenging. On would recieve job trainning (likely for a trade, likely for a something of their choice). At camp one would work a 10 hour days for a private company at a nominal wage. Choosing a labour camp would reduce the length of one's sentance.
Marriage will be rejected by the government. The government will perform civil unions (we will give it a badass name) to any group of people requesting it. Religons are free to perform all the marriages they want, but that won't get you the taxbreak!

That is all for now feel free to make suggestions. Suggestions I like (it is my party) will be added with credit.

1. Non-religous tv can just as easily spread hate

2. The whole reward for footage of road rage thing.
Dosen't this encourage people to provoke other drivers into a rage so they can get cash for it?

I know, but those are the laws in Canada, and they seem to work. Besides, the religous seem to be allot more willing to do it. I don't need to tell you about Pat Robertson do I?

Yes, but you could also film these people provoking the rage too. To the camera, it will just look like road rage.
