Question - who in the blue hell is Christy Moore?

I like his stuff. Some of it is way too political for me, but the rest I like. My Dad was a big fan and sang it to me all the time when I was little, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

Oh my God, the name rings a bell... But that was *really* long ago. In the early 90s, I think. I think I had a CD by him. And in one song he sings about Lisdoonvarna? Where I just had passed through on a holiday in Ireland.

Am I even talking about the right guy? *scurries off to look him up*
