Many of us on here like beer and drink on a regular basis as I do. So whats your favourite beer, how often do you drink, and if you have any good stories having doing to with beer go for it. I'm just going to sit here and enjoy my beer. If anyone is doing the same, cheers.

There are so many good beers out that it's damn tough to name just one.

Absolutely. And that doesn't even include all of those stories that accompany beer drinking on a regular basis :D

Bell's Double Cream Stout is probably my favorite beer at the moment. I only have about 4 beers a week, and that's usually one with dinner. Bell's is a Michigan based micro-brewery, although I don't know if it can be considered a micro-brewery anymore because one finds their beer in most party stores (liquor stores for everyone else) and grocery stores throughout the state.

Each locale has its own microbrewery that will provide a tasty, fresh, lovingly crafted beer. Since I'm in Montreal, my current favourite is the Griffon Red Ale made by McAuslan Breweries, about 4 blocks from my last apartment.

I had a rather tasty Quebecois beer once. I was flipping through the beer menu at a bar in Ann Arbor when I saw this. With a name like that I knew I had to try it.

Anything made by Anchor Brewing (http://anchorbrewing.com), but especially the Steam Beer and the Liberty Ale. But since I live in Florida now, I usually go for Yuengling, since they have a Tampa plant now. Freshness makes a huge difference.

I'm a fan of Corona and Smithwick's. I usually don't go out all that often, but I'm TDY right now, so we drink every weekend night at a minimum.

Cheers! Inspired by this thread, immediately after I've typed this, I'll be opening a bottle of Spitfire.

My favourite beer is subject to frequent change, but the one that comes up time and time again is Newcastle Brown Ale. Oh yes.

As far as concerns how often I drink... hmmmmmmm..... well, there's Monday Pub Club, which is just me and a few mates going out to The Playhouse and taking advantage of their £1.49 Fosters and £1.45 Theakstons on Mondays. That'll generally amount to about 10 pints, sometimes with crawl elements incorporated; that is to say, we get bored with the sticky bar and decide to find somewhere more interesting to drink. Fridays are also days of choice for a piss-up in a very similar style, but starting earlier, and generally lasting longer, than Monday Pub Club. It's generally Saturday I'll wake up covered in mud with a broken hand on someone I don't know's sofa.

Then there's all the times I'll go round a mates during the week or at the weekend and get ratted with them.

Some might call that excessive. I call it good times.:D

Local microbrewed beer is always the best. No matter where you live. As I live on Long Island ...

Alcohol is a disgusting, dangerous habit. It's a toxic chemical which causes brain damage. It's responsible for thousands of dead people due to drunk accidents and overdose and abuse and liver disease and fetal alcohol syndrome. It should be banned!
