Doesn't Louisiana have bigger things to worry about?

Three people in West Monroe Louisiana have been arrested for selling dildos. It seems sellling dildos is illegal in Iran, I mean Louisiana. Personally I think any police department that's got the time and manpower to bust dildo shops is overfunded and needs their budget cut.

Bloody hell. Ignore the rampant crime, devastation and poverty down the road in New Orleans, why don't you Louisiana Police Department? Probably just doing this cause it's easier.

That must be a parish or city law, because there are plenty of places to get sex aids in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Hell, during Mardi Gras, you might even find someone selling them from a pushcart on the street.

they are illegal here in the city but we still have stores where you can get them, but they must not be marketed as "sex aides", they have to say on the box "this is a novelty gift item and not for use" :p

a lady got arrested a few summers back for selling one at a garage sale......first gross and second

they probably have some of their "phantom" police force working on the big case.

If a law was broken, then surely the police have a duty to investigate, no matter how seemingly trivial the matter is. It seems the law itself is at fault - getting that changed would free up police time.

Several years ago in New Zealand, I found a mail order brochure in my letterbox. Inside was an ad for a 'facial massager'.
Said 'facial massager' was 10" long, hard, plastic, roundish.
Was promoted as having, "deep penetrating action, able to get between even the deepest folds and wrinkles for ultimate pleasure and relaxation"
Had a photo of a woman smiling happily as she massaged her face with it.

I often wondered how many old women out there bought one not realising.

I actually notice more than a hint of desperation in her eyes.
She was probably thinking, "It's helping get me thru college...It's helping get me thru college...It's helping get me thru college...Oh God! What if mum sees this? What if Grandma buys one!"

I did laugh out loud reading this thread, but the incident is pathetically sad, too. There's a reason some of the Puritans felt constrained to move to the New World back in the 17th Century: they were an incredibly depressing, moralistic lot who took offense at the mere thought of someone enjoying his or herself, and their neighbors probably chipped in to buy the Mayflower. The trouble is, Puritanism has escaped being purely religious and now seems to dominate large parts of the US. Thus endeth the rant.

I don't think she really needs it, I couldn't see any deep folds or wrinkles on her face. :p

Nice ribbing on the "facial massager".

As I see it.......

Their thrust is to prick holes in the stiff front erected by the smut dealers. They must keep mounting an offensive to penetrate any crack in their defenses so that they might lay to rest their dominant position. Preferably he should be hung, because the public wants fast action. Hopefully they'll get on 'em and ram through a stiff bail law so it'll be hard for them to get it up. The public must come together so that we can whip this thing into submission. It'll be hard on us all, but we can't lick it by being soft, can we?
