DCD is a pretty solid Democrat. But, he still believes that he has the right to own a gun, and is against any group that wants to fuck with the US.
In other words, he's an American.
DCD would like to live in a world where he can live his life and enjoy it, without some overly religious zealot ruining his day (regardless of the religion).

Depends on the issue. It's stupid to just be liberal or conservative across the board regardless of the issue at hand. I think for myself.

I agree with dk on many things,but not on this issue.But thats cool, I dont see why everyone is always having a go at DK, he is no ny nordland,as being aginst a religion is not being racist!Although I would geuss I am a lot more liberal than dk, but he at least doesnt resort to charicter attack on people who do not agree with him(correct me if Im wrong)

I've always seen DK as a pretty solid libertarian.
DK isn't conservative, he just supports a more extreme version of realpolitik than a lot of others (even more than me). Political ideology doesn't really fit the kind of position he takes on issues other than an intense form of realism.

Conservative and liberal are labels that are only good for the most basic, simplest and brainless approach to issues, therefore that's what news media use.
Reality, events, and people are much more complex than that and each requires a reasoned, carefully analyzed approach if you want to reach a useful conclusion.
What's worrisome is that many people take these labels so seriously.
