How low will gas prices need to be before the election?

Well folks, way back when I posted many times that gas prices would drop before the election so the incumbents would get elected. After all they've got these bought and paid for they would hate to have to start buying new ones. But it seems that the public is upset about things other then gas prices, so how low will they have to go in the next two months? I figure $2 will make a lot of people forget a lot of things.

I for one hope people will learn their lessons and conserve and stop buying such damned huge vehicles.

Oh, and I don't intend to forget certain politicians' bullshitery.

Well w/ the McCain-Feingold incumbant protection act in place, many people will forget.

I don't care how low gas prices go, nothing will make me forget the crap our government pulls.

I've been bitching since gas hit $1/gallon, and I'll continue to bitch until it's back under $1. Which means I'll be bitching until the day I die.

Haha. You actually think the gas prices will matter? Congress members have a 99% recidivism –oops I mean incumbency- rate in this country and that isn’t going to change.

Give me 1 dollar gas and a Ford GT and I will forgive any politician anything.

Hell of low. Even then, I'll continue to be royally pissed off at our current administration.
