Things you CAN compromise on

We've seen what we will not compromise on, and I'm happy to say that we have alot of important causes that we won't waver on.

Buuuuuuttt....

Sometimes you just have to make compromises. It is the only way you'll be able to grow as a person in my opinion. If you can't compromise on anything, you'll just be the same, static, stiff individual who, to the common observer, seems to have an enormous stick up his or her ass.

The most important (and the toughest) part of compromise, is finding an equal footing, something that you are willing to give up in order to gain something, whether it is between people, or a compromise made on your own to improve yourself.

Me? I'm willing to compromise on matters of health...dieting...oi...

Since being on steroids for so long, I've gain a lot of weight. In order to lose it, I've grudgingly taken on a diet, cutting down on portions, and mainly watching what I eat, without getting bored of my meals in the process. Thankfully, this has been VERY sucessful. Mind you, this is coming from a person whos motto used to be "Diet soda is for the weak", so I think I've grown a bit.

Now that I'm done with my self-indulgent shpiel...what about you?

Who knows...in some alternate universe, we could've had Pat Robertson as president. Imagine how life would be like under HIM...

Ok, I take it back.

I'll compromise on how silly the Simpsons can get. I don't care what people say, it is still great and can get even crazier. :p

I'll compromise on anything but my own integrity. That's one of the sources of some major problems today -- that people see compromise as a failure on each part rather than a partial-success for all.

Square or round pizza.

What about deep-dish Chicago style, or thin-crust. THAT'S pretty damn important.

Hard shell or soft shell tacos.

tackles or body slams.

pie fights or mud fights.

wedgies or depantsings.

I'm very flexible. :)

Depends on the people I'm dealing with and how much I stand to gain. Given the right circumstances, I could compromise anything.

NO WEDGIES. I want children. Depantsings, on the other hand...not a problem.

I'm pretty flexible, honestly. As long as she doesn't try to throw out my music collection/convert me to a different religion or belief system, I'm cool.

In that universe, I'd be The Man At The Grassy Knoll when he comes to Dallas.

I'm a bit of a collaborative-adaptable survivor. My ethics are completely flexible in the face of great personal gains. Greenpeace could hire me, and I'd work for their agenda but I'd leave the office on the spot for Big Oil if they gave me a better deal, and work the company tune.

Wearing sweaters in the summer and shorts in the winter.

And yes, this post was a reply/[bump]

Aside from that, I would compromise either way on the effect of NSG on someone's sanity...
