Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like being evil when listening to Motley crue? hmm wait...i got something better

what song/group/ music genre makes you feel like a totally different person?

Let me explain. See I am a good, church going, God fearing boy, but when i hear Motley Crue I feel like throwing all that out and drinking, having orgies, and worshiping satan..lol

I fail at coming up with something interesting to talk about:(

Does my wanting to kill someone from the sheer aggitation and annoyances of a song or artist count for this?

Because any "teenie-bopper" and pop-star songs makes me want to bash my skull into a fine pulp or play racket ball with the artists head.

Dude, they're not shouting with the Devil, they're shouting at the Devil.

*shakes head*

They're not worshipping satan, they're scolding him for trying to get backstage and score on their success. "Satan man, how many times have we told you? Get your own damn groupies!"

The song "Club Tropicana" makes me want to tattoo "Death Metal Skinz" on my forehead and beat the shite out of the planet.......

No, because they're quite...lame.

But different music does get me riled up in certain ways, yes. I don't know about a "different person", though.

When I hear Motley Crue, I feel like gouching there brains, eyes, and vocal chords out. I feel the same way about Guns N Roses and Van Halen.

I have a theory that music can be used as emotional masturbation, as there are a number of different songs/bands that affect my mood in a variety of ways.

I don't know that any music "makes" me want to do anything, but I do have a lot of music that is nostalgic to me, and I miss the days of pink hair, saftey pins, fishnets, and my punk band. I so can't go do all that now, I have to be "the mom" and that's depressing sometimes.

Because any "teenie-bopper" and pop-star psuedo-songs makes me want to bash my skull into a fine pulp or play racket ball with the artists head.

Please, do it the Roman way...Play soccer with their heads.

As for me, teenie-bopper bands cause me to feel anger and loss of control. Put it on for longer than a half a minute and I am likely to throw a chair at the source of the noise (it does not deserve the desingation of music.)

Dump the kiddies on a babysitter or on hubbie and go to a concert. Everyone needs a break from life. :)

Does Mozart making me want to sleep count as being influenced by the music, or is boredom it's own beast?

Hmm...

When I listen to overly thick nu-metal crap I feel nauseus, because it makes me feel claustrophobic.

Does that count?

Sort of. There's music that makes me feel sort of violent, and I don't condone violence, so I sort of live it out through the music. I live out other emotions through music, too.

what song/group/ music genre makes you feel like a totally different person? What if the 'you' that appears while you listen to Motley Crue is the real you? <giggle>
