I made it that when I realised that all I really wanted was a sandwich. Though what sealed it was when all I had was a sandwich and wanted to go to the movies so a friend suggested I try and see if they'll give me a movie ticket in exchange for a sandwich.

The slang term for performance was ideal for the name of our currency.

Gigs are the base unit (akin to a dollar elsewhere), and the dividing unit is the "side", with 100 sides to a gig.
