I did have a girl who liked/still does like me a tad too much and didn’t get the message of “no” (though I was never really worried by this but maybe I damn well should be)

I myself think I may of worried some girls by the policy of “I’ll walk you home even if we have a massive fight” but that’s just because young girls walking home late at night = worried Call to Power + possible guilt (and I care)

edit: and isn't the OP supposed to get the ball rolling?

when I was in a band I had this freak come backstage once and bring me cookies once, he said "I hope you like them, they are vegan"

(I was vegan at the time)

It creeped me out that he thought I would accept food from a stranger, and then when I took them he said "I like the way you sing, I have a song for you to sing at my funeral" and tried to hand me a peice of paper, but my boyfriend at the time (who was also the drummer) kinda led him out of the area.......

I have a lot of people that have tried to ask me out before, and it always creeps me out, in fact the only time it didn't creep me out, not even a little, is when my husband asked me out on a date.

Not really romantic, but...

I was talking to someone online and I made the joke "Why don't doctor's of sacred theology ever get the pussy? Cuz no one wants to fuck an STD."

The girl responded "Huh? You have a VD?" and then said the creepiest thing ever. "I don't care what you have, I'd fuck you anyways."

EWWWWWW. *block*

Does getting added to what seem to be lots of Chinese girl's MSN contact lists and being asked to join their "Circle of Friends" count as possible attempts at romance gone awry?

I had a guy who followed me around for a few weeks and broke into my locker at school o_O

Another time a guy who I didn't know very well randomly picked me up and swung me around in the air. What the fuck?!

Yeah... There's this girl who constantly, I guess you could say the word... Stalks me. She things it's romantic for someone to know every bit about a person. I call that just plain creepy. Meh. Guess I shouldn't complain. At least I have someone romantically interested in me.
Not bad

That's a bit creepy and highly amusing.

In my senior year of high school, there was one guy who kept writing essays for me in English class. I didn't ask him or anything. I usually wrote 500-word essays and he was writing an extra 1000-worder just for me. It's nice and all, but I found it a bit creepy.

When I joined up skype, within a few minutes I got a msg from a Chinese chick begging me to add her to my address book.
I clicked ok, more out of morbid curiosity than anything else.
She's still in my address book, too. Currently her tagline says, "i love you but you always hurt me !"

Not really creepy, but bloody strange.

the little moo-cow has never called me either.

Very creepy. Blatant attempt to get you to appreciate him more, though.
