Actually, no. Not in their natural envioment. Most of the cat girls I see here in Japan are used just as cute avatars for various ads or posters, not echi at all.

The ones normally seen in the US tend to be, but only a very, VERY small section goes to the US.

Depends on if you're using the Japanese word for cat, or the slang term used by Westerners for cat-girls. Either way, they are acceptable. And cat girls are damned sexy. Anyone who says they're not is wrong.

Was it Smunkee who's cat I named Yakineko? I forget. I seem to have a talent for naming pets with unusual names. when my neighbors were recently given a rabbit by their school, I named him too. He was hopping up and down the couch in the TV room, and then just flooped down in a really funny fashion. I called him Couch potato and it stuck. :D

Neko is our bunny. He is a Netherlands dwarf rabbit. We bought him from a PetSmart in Chicago in summer of 1998. He was our first mammalian pet, and is still our first and only lagomorph. He is a friendly but naughty house rabbit who lives in a fine two-story rabbit house from Leith Petwerks.
