Who Should Have Nukes?

Which of the following nations do you trust will not use their nuclear weapons (if they obtain nuclear weapons) except in situations which you deem necessary (poll coming)?
Nobody or everybody. MAD FTW.
the only reason I don't want pakistan to have nukes is in case Musharraf gets overthrown by a true nutjob.

The US, China and France, maybe Israel and India as well. I note the UK isn't on that list, but they're probably reasonable enough too.
I'd also think a few non-nuclear powers could be expected to behave - Japan and a few of the European countries mainly, plus perhaps Australia (although they wouldn't want them I don't think).

Yup. It's amazing how nukes have turned belligerent states into rational actors in the past.

Who the hell are all of these people picking France. Having the bomb is the only way they may not surrender in a war... maybe.

I see I'm still the only one who actually voted for everyone on the list.

as was said befor, nobody or everybody.Preferably nobody.
I know that this seems churlish, but I dont even trust america or the uk with nukes, after all the us is the only country to ever use nukes.I know many people will say to this-'but it was necesary'but it shows they are willing to use them, and may do again, and now that more countries have them that is dangerous.I just cant believe that humans could creat something so devestating only for the purpose of killinh.I mean, who really wants others to be killed in their thousands, except our crazy leaders(face it they must be crazy and power hungry to want to be leaders)and a few crazies.I wish people would put as much effort and money into medicine as was put into the development of nukes and instruments of war.
anyway, enough of my rant, Im probably gong to get a couple of responses telling me how naive I am,believe me Im not, Im just hopeful, but still a realist.

I did too.
Nuclear Peace. It's a good thing.

It entails not voting in the poll.

At the least, USA, France, and Israel. I'm tentative with China because they still have a long way to go before I can trust them. It's rather obvious why Iran and NK shouldn't have nukes, in any case.
Pakistan and India should both lose their nukes; it'll just help defuse the situation there. I trust India with them but it would probably radicalize the Pakistanis if either of them had nukes.

Everyone should have nukes that way when they all launch we can all start over.... if some males and females survive.

Look at history. The tension between India and Pakistan was far bloodier before the two of them got nukes. Once they both had them, the stakes went up for both, and the fighting has been reduced to border skirmishes.
Either everyone or no one. Or me and my group at the soon-to-be-founded Society For Finding Ways To Save Humanity From Cosmic Events, or NAMBLA  ...
jk. The acronym would be SFFWTSHFCE, but there is no fun to be had there. :(

Ideally none.
But practically, those who have nukes already get to keep them, simply because there is no way they would give it up. Those who can develop them indigeneously without the help of proliferation from others can try their luck in developing them (like India which stayed outside NPT and AFAIK, did develop indigeneously)
Those who SIGNED Nuclear NPT, don't get to have them. If they felt they needed nukes, they should have stayed out of NPT like India, Pak and Israel.
