No, no, no! Not like that!
NWA had to lay off a number of employees in the process of filing bankrupcy, and some genius in HR sent out a letter with the following advice:
- Don't be afraid to ask friends and family for used clothing.
- Don't be afraid to ask a doctor for free drugs.
- Don't be afraid to pull items out of the dumpster.
- They were also helpful enough to include the names of real estate agents, in case people had to sell their homes because they'd lost their job.
All I can say is that someone in their HR department is going to be following their own advice in the very near future.
