Where should you live?

Neu Leonstein

The internet has the answer:

You Belong in Amsterdam

A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city).

You Belong in London

You belong in London, but you belong in many cities... Hong Kong, San Francisco, Sidney. You fit in almost anywhere. And London is diverse and international enough to satisfy many of your tastes. From curry to Shakespeare, London (almost) has it all!

London is the city I'd want to live in if I were going to live in Europe.

Quite accurate again. I actually want to live in Austin once I graduate college; given that I'm planning to go in to finance it makes a lot of sense. Plus, it's a cool city.

I've been exiled to Amsterdam, it seems, forced to clog for all eternity with Neu Leonstein and Von Wiffleball.
At least there is pot there, for what good that will do to distract me from my poor, swollen feet.

In America, it says I should go for Chicago, with LA and NY being close seconds. Since I'm in New York at this moment, and plan to visit both LA and Chicago at some point, I guess that works out.

it really is incredibey unfriendly. Seems like Londoners would rather frown at you than smile at you.

Well, the big part doesn't bother me...I'm from the US, remember? ;)

But the other things sound rather unpleasant; I can't stand rude, unfriendly (or elitist) people anywhere in the world, so I would definitely have problems with those attitudes. And the prices...

Well, Belfast is the best place in the world. Even Scottish people I know will remark on the general friendliness, and most say its the best place they've visisted (ever heard of a Scotsman who says somewhere is better than Scotland? Belfast does that to people...) Many people will comment on the beauty of buildings in the city centre, and I feel (personally, after travelling extensively) that there's not a better place to visit or live.

Providence isn't bad, but too small
Portland could be cool.
Worcester...well, I would have trouble living in a city with a pond named "Dead Hookers Pond"
Boston...is that really a surprise to anyone? that would be it. :)

According to this, I should be in Amsterdam in Europe or Honolulu in the U.S. I could do either one; I was afraid they might put me in some boring part of Ohio.

You Belong in Amsterdam

A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city).

You Belong in Paris

You enjoy all that life has to offer, and you can appreciate the fine tastes and sites of Paris.
You're the perfect person to wander the streets of Paris aimlessly, enjoying architecture and a crepe.

I hate Paris. :\

Yeah reruns were on in 2000, must have been a long time ago.
Cricket isn't silly, although I dislike it. I'm good at most sports, at high school I managed to get on every sports team. Except cricket. I failed miserably at it. I hate playing cricket. :(
Batter or Bowler?
What is it with Kiwis & Sydney?
Actually i thought about this on Friday, my folks moved to Sydney when i was young, back in '84/85 or something looking for a better job for my dad, when i started to pick up an Aussie twang to my speech it was time to move back.:p

I guess that pretty much sums it up, back in the 80's many Kiwis moved to Sydney for work, i can only assume Sydney was in a Economic growth spell at the time and was requiring workers at a greater need than Melbourne.
